Bricksave expands to Colombia through the Macondo acquisition

Bricksave, a real estate investment fintech, acquired Macondo, a Colombian proptech startup.

With this acquisition, Macondo users will have access to the first property sponsored by Bricksave, located in Chicago, United States.

“Macondo’s token system complements our Digital Ledger Technology (DLT). This will allow us to reduce the minimum investment amount, offering more people the opportunity to invest in Real Estate,” said Tom de Lucy, Bricksave’s CEO.

Bricksave has 20,000 users, has financed 260 properties in Chicago, Detroit, Philadelphia, Lisbon, Vienna, and Barcelona, and has delivered over $6M to their investors, offering annual returns ranging from 7% to 9% with a minimum investment amount of $1,000.
