US pancake chain IHOP, a subsidiary of Dine Brands Global, has completed the rollout of a new point-of-sale (POS) system from TRAY across its 1,500 restaurants.

The transition to the cloud-native platform, which has taken two years, was aimed at maintaining the existing hardware stack while offering hardware flexibility for franchisees.

The restaurant chain selected TRAY’s POS solution, which features reporting and performance analytics and an open architecture that facilitates integration with other systems, including online ordering and payment platforms.
