Norway-based aquaculture tech group appoints new CEO

Norway-based aquaculture technology group Aquabyte said on Monday it has appointed Steve Tucker as its new CEO.

Tucker had been director of operations and president of Aquabyte for almost a year. Before that, he was managing director of Bergen-based digital learning company itslearning.

Aquabyte’s founder and outgoing CEO, Bryton Shang, will move into the role of executive chairman, the company said in a statement.

Tucker said in the statement that Aquabyte “combines the leading aquaculture expertise from Norway and Chile with exceptional engineering talent from Silicon Valley.”
